The driving distance from Carcassonne city centre is less than 5km from the airport and will only take about 12 minutes to get to.
If you are driving to the airport it is on the A61 autoroute which links Toulouse with the mediterranean coast.
- As you leave Carcassonne Salvaza Airport head east towards Route de Montréal and turn right and left to stay on this road until you turn left at on to the D119 motorway.
- Continue along the D119 for about 1.9km going through two roundabouts taking a slight right to stay on it until you eventually turn right at Avenue du Dr Goût and take another right at Boulevard Barbès on to the N113.
- Carry on along the N113 and turn left at Boulevard Camille Pelletan for about 0.3km then taking a left at Square Gambetta (signs for Toulouse) into the centre of Carcassonne.
