Bordeaux Airport is located in the town of Mérignac, 6 miles (10 km) west of Bordeaux within the area of Gironde. Bordeaux Airport serves more than 3.5 million travellers annually and consists of two terminal buildings classed as Terminal A and Terminal B which are linked by a covered walkway.
Bordeaux Airport is very well connected and can be accessed from junctions 11a or 11b off the main ring road surrounding Bordeaux. The A64 links Toulouse and Agen to Bordeaux, the A89 links Libourne and Perigeux and the A10 connects Paris and Poitiers with Bordeaux Airport.
In addition to almost a flight per hour to Paris and daily flights to the major French cities, the airport offers daily and weekly flights to a large number of European and international destinations.
