Information on Nice Airport
Aéroport Nice Côte d'Azur is the second busiest airport in France after Charles de Gaulle in Paris. This airport is used a lot to fly to luxurious vacation resorts or second homes in places including St Tropez, Antibes, Cannes and Monaco.
Nice Airport is 7km west of Nice. It has two terminals which are connected by a free shuttle bus service.
The airport has very good motorway connections and from the Promenade des Anglais you head towards Nice. The A8 connects the airport with Italy and Monaco (going north) and the RN98 goes to Cannes and Antibes in the west. The RN7 National Route runs parallel with the airport to various places along the coast and for Digne and Grenoble which are north of Nice you follow the RN202.

There are taxi ranks at the front of both terminals. It costs around €20-25 to get a taxi into Nice depending on the time of day as between the hours of 19:00-07:00 there is a 20% surcharge and you have to pay for the toll roads.

Nice Airport Trains
The SNCF-station Nice St. Augustin is just 500 metres from Terminal 1 with a regional train serving destinations between Cannes and Vintimille from there.
All other lines leave from the Central Station in Nice and there are direct buses from the airport to the station: bus line 99 leaves from Terminal 1, and bus line 23 leaves from Terminal 2.
