There are 2 sets of French doors opening onto the terrace from the lounge and 1 set opening onto the pool terrace from the fireplace nook. There is ample lounge seating for 12-14 people, piano, satellite TV, DVD player and CD player.

On one side of the lounge is a large oak staircase leading to the gallery and west wing and on the other side, a staircase leads to the east wing.

Dining Room: Large modern table with 12 chairs. French doors opening onto side of house.

Library Area: Small library area overlooking the lounge, with 2 armchairs, combined TV/VCR, books and videos.

Pailhes is about 10kms north of Beziers, 20kms West of Pezenas, and is set on elevated ground with magnificent views over the surrounding vineyards and countryside, and on clear days you can see the snow-capped Pyrenees.

1.5kms away is the village of Thezan les Beziers where you will find essential shops (bakers, butcher, grocers and post office) as well as a twice weekly market.

There is a supermarket at Murviel les Beziers 2kms away.

Arrangements can be made to deliver bread to the house on a daily basis.
