Perpignan Restaurants

Perpignan has an excellent selection of restaurants to choose from.  They range greatly in price, but you will certainly find it cheaper to eat here than in the UK.  Because the Languedoc Roussilllon is an agricultural area, the produce served is very fresh, and dining out gives you the perfect opportunity to sample the different wines produced in the region.

Located in the old town, an informal and charming bistro serving excellent French and Catalonian cuisine.  Popular with the locals, especially at lunch time, when the food is of good value with menus including mussels, medallions of sea bass, filet of beef in Banyuls wine and anchoiade which is a paste of anchovies served with a medley of grilled red peppers.  Reservation recommended.
