A9 motorway (about ten kilometres to be precise) which leads north to Narbonne and Nimes, and southward to Spain. This should take
you about another ten minutes once you've exited the motorway at Junction

It's a very small airport, but not as small as somewhere like Avignon airport.
It has two runways, one of 2500m and one of 1260m and can handle up to 700,000 passengers per year.
From Perpignan a daily high-speed rail service is available to Paris Gare de Lyon station.

Perpignan Airport Arrivals
The Perpignan airport arrivals hall is quite small but easy to navigate.
When you disembark the plane you'll make your way through passport
control, baggage reclaim and into the arrivals area of the main terminal
building.
If you've got someone to meet you then it shouldn't be difficult to spot them as this end of the terminal building is so small. In the summer, a lot of people wait outside the terminal building in the sun..

Perpignan Airport Departures
When
it's time to go home, you'll find the Perpignan airport departures
area on the left hand side of the terminal building. As you walk in you'll see the check in desks straight ahead of you. We provide information on live flight departures from Perpignan Airport here.
Although it's one of the smaller airports, Perpignan can also be one of the busiest. So I suggest you leave yourself plenty of time to check in, in case there are long queues.
Perpignan Airport Taxis
When
you arrive at Perpignan, if you're going to need a Perpignan airport
taxi to take you on to your hotel, apartment or campsite, then make
your way outside the terminal and you'll see the taxis lined up outside.
A taxi stand is located outside the arrivals hall; fares to the city centre are around €15.
The journey time to the centre of Perpignan is around ten minutes. Alternatively, you might choose to reserve private Perpignan transfers.
Perpignan Airport Buses
There
are Perpignan airport buses that will take you from the airport into
the centre of town. As you come through baggage reclaim and into the
main part of the terminal building, just follow signs for "Navette".
Shuttle buses operate four times a day between the airport and Perpignan’s bus and railway stations. Departure times from outside the arrivals hall are 10:05, 14:35, 16:50 and 18:20. The trip takes ten minutes to the bus station and another five minutes to the train station and costs €5.00.
These buses are run by a company called "Courier Catalans" Telephone number: 04 68 55 68 00.
Perpignan Airport Parking
There is only one public car park which, unsurprisingly, is called
P1. As with a lot of smaller airports, the car park is situated directly
in front of the terminal building. This makes it nice and easy for
lugging your bags to and from the car.
Don’t worry. Although it’s a small airport, they still have baggage trolleys for you to use.
Perpignan Airport has a small 780 space car park which offers free parking for the first 15 minutes. Rates are €1.60 for the first hour and €2.20 for two hours up to a 24 hour rate of €10.60. The two day rate is €13.70 and the weekly rate €27.40.
As with most of the local airports, if you are a frequent flyer you can opt to take out a parking subscription in order to save a bit of money.
Perpignan Airport Shopping
Like other local airports in the Languedoc, Perpignan offers little
in the way of shops and restaurants.
On the ground floor of the terminal building there is a small gift shop/tabac offering a limited selection of local wines and regional gifts. You can also get newspapers, magazines, sweets for your journey and even books about the region in English.
Perpignan Airport Restaurants
In addition to the gift shop, there is the ever present French bar
always ready to serve you a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
Or of course, if you fancy something a little stronger, why not have a glass of wine or a beer? They’ll even do you a baguette sandwich, croissant or croquet monsieur (Cheese on toast to you and me).
If you’ve checked in early and want to relax a little, there’s a restaurant on the first floor where you can have a full three course meal, with a glass of wine to wash it all down.
