INTRODUCTION - "GITE B, RUE DES ECOLES"
Our one bed gite in Aumes (Near Pezenas), Les Tonneaux (the Wine Barrels), was the former cave (wine cellars) of the original family home (now divided in to 3 houses).
We have two gites to rent in Aumes, both of which are ideal for a Languedoc holiday.
GROUND FLOOR
Reception room/Kitchen: With sofa, fitted kitchen and breakfast table with two chairs.
Bedroom 1: A double Room with door leading to;
Shower Room: An en suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin.
OUTSIDE
Terrace: Terrace with garden furniture and BBQ.
Parking: We offer secure off street parking.
LOCATION
Aumes is ideally placed for exploring the Mediterranean coast, the villages and towns of Herault and the wooded mountains of the Haut Languedoc National Park. Less than five minutes drive from Pezenas. Pezenas, with it's arts and crafts shops, restaurants, bars and it's weekly market on a saturday, will give you a true flavour of the area.
Within 30 kms you can swim in the Med, lakes and rivers, sunbathe on long sandy beaches, walk in the mountains, birdwatch on the etangs, visit historical chateaux and villages or shop at local markets.
The restaurants in the area are renowned for their seafood with one of the main oyster producing centres (Bouzigues) only 20 minutes away.
Nearest airport is Montpellier which is less than an hour by car.
