Information
Nimes airport is situated about 20km south east of Nimes Centre,
just off Junction 2 of the A54 motorway.
It's a smallish airport but a fair bit bigger than other Languedoc airports such as Carcassonne Airport and Perpignan Airport. It has one runway which is 2.5km in length and a terminal building of approx 4260 sq m and can handle up to 800,000 passengers per year.
The main hall of the terminal building and all access to departure gates are at ground floor level. So if any member of your party is in a wheelchair you won't have to worry about stairs or escalators.

When
your plane lands you will disembark and make your way across
the tarmac to the Nimes airport arrivals hall. There are no boarding gangways that connect to the planes here so
if it's raining you're going to get wet. The distance from the plane
to the arrivals hall is about 100m.
After your short walk you'll go through passport control and straight into the baggage reclaim hall. There is one large baggage carousel here and you will also find baggage trolleys (you'll need a € 1coin).Once you've collected you bags it's just a short walk of a few metres into the Nimes Airport arrivals hall.
