Lozere

Lozere is part of the current Languedoc-Roussillon region and is surrounded by the departements of Cantal, Haute-Loire, Ardeche, Gard, and Aveyron.

The departement of Lozere is inhabited by Lozeriens. It currently has one of the lowest unemployment rates in France and is the least populated French departement.

There are many different types of activities available in the Lozere. Something to suit all tastes and all seasons. Summer activities include caving, kayaking, hiking, horse riding, mountain biking and of course, fishing. Lozere contains a part of the Cevennes National Park. And in the winter?

Lozere has over 30km of pistes and 20 ski lifts ! So as only one of the regions that make up the Languedoc, Lozere has an awful lot for you to discover.
