Whether you're coming from Narbonne or Carcassonne,
the road to Chateau Prieure Borde-Rouge is a very pleasant one to drive. Coming round a bend, you will find this lovely estate nestled in an arm
of the river Orbieu, in the village of Lagrasse,
not far from Carcassonne.
It is a one hundred year old family held estate, which, since 1994, has rapidly climbed up the ranks of the great languedoc wines. The village of Lagrasse with it's 10th Century Abbey and classed as one of France's most picturesque villages, is sure to put you under it's spell.
The owners are always welcoming, and you will be sure to be invited to sample some wonderful wine from one of the best wine domaines of languedoc.
